Looking for Senior Photos for your school's yearbook?

If West Texas Photography is your school's photographer, you've come to the right place!  At the bottom of this page, you can schedule your studio time for this summer. 
You have two options: 

1) Yearbook Only

  • You'll take photos in cap and gown or tux and drape only, depending on what your school uses for the yearbook. 

  • Backdrop will be whatever your school uses for yearbook (blue or gray).

  • We provide the cap and gown and applicable stoles (including an NHS stole) or tux and drape.

  • See notes below for what to wear or bring.

2) Yearbook + 1 Other Outfit

  • You'll take photos in cap and gown or tux and drape, depending on what your school uses for the yearbook. 

  • We provide the cap and gown and applicable stoles (including an NHS stole) or tux and drape.

  • See notes below for what to wear or bring.

  • In addition, you can take another set of photos in an outfit of your choosing, or in the tux and drape (if your yearbook photos were in cap and gown, or vice versa).

  • For your second outfit, you can choose from multiple studio backdrops.

Please arrive a few minutes early to your session to give you time to make it up to the third floor of the building and get checked in.  We have restrooms and changing rooms on site for your convenience.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING/PREPARE:

​

  • Cap and Gown

    • Ladies

      • Wear a cami or tank top with a low neckline that will not show underneath your gown. 

      • Your fingernails will show in one of the poses holding the cap, so make sure they're clean and well-groomed, and feel free to have artificial or painted nails if you like. 

      • The first poses we take will NOT have the cap on your head, so make sure your hair is fixed the way you like it.

    • Gentlemen

      • Wear a t-shirt or undershirt to go under the collared shirt we provide. 

      • Your hands will show in one of the poses holding the cap, so make sure they're clean and well-groomed.

      • The first poses we take will NOT have the cap on your head, so make sure your hair is fixed the way you like it.

  • Tux and Drape

    • Ladies

      • Wear a cami or tank top that can be pulled low off your shoulders and won't show under the drape.

      • Shoulders are bare, and tan lines are very apparent, so please be mindful of the sun in the days before your appointment.

      • We provide an optional pearl necklace, or you can wear a necklace of your choice or not wear a necklace at all.

    • Gentlemen

      • Wear a t-shirt or undershirt to go under the collared shirt we provide.
